Call Congressman Hodes

I just called my congressman, Paul Hodes a Democrat representing New Hampshire's 2nd district, to ask how he plans to vote on the health care takeover bill.  The staff member who answered the phone said the congressman would not know how he plans to vote until he reads the bill.  A likely story.  I offered my view - the bill is trash - and advised that he vote against it.

Hodes is running for the retiring Judd Gregg's Senate seat. At the moment Hodes is polling behind Republican attorney general Kelly Ayotte 47 - 37, and behind Republican businessman Bill Binnie 46- 36.

Since Hodes is expecting to escape Pelosi's clutches anyway, it's very worthwhile for New Hampshire residents to call Hodes and gently remind him that his slim chances for winning that Senate seat go to non-existent if he votes for the health care takeover.  His Washington office phone number is 202-225-5206.

I am very much against the health care reform bill and would like to know how congressman Hodes feels about the bill?

I am against this health care that you and other Democrats are trying to cram down our throats. Who is going to pay for it when so many are out of jobs? The cost for this plan is astronomical. Where are our intelligent leaders all gone? Have you all forgotten you work for the people of this country. You and other cronies in DC are so arrogant and pompous! Open your ears and listen to the people you represent. We need leaders who can make this nation a strong industrial nation like it was. The businesses are taxed so high that our jobs are leaving the US. If you concentrated on raising tariffs on companies sending jobs overseas, and giving tax breaks to those who keep our jobs here, the economy would recover. Then and only then would people have the $ to pay for health care and other lviing necessities.
If the Congress and Senate think this is such a great deal, then why don't you enact this health care for everyone including all members of both houses?
Our constitution is being violated with these secret, behind-door deals. Our Leaders are a disgrace to our country, including the President. You look down your noses at us with such disregard for the people of our country.
If this HC bill passes, I can assure you that the election in Nov. will send you and other arrogant non-listeners home!! Our leaders are not leaders they are puppets of the President and Pelosi, who I believe are trying to destroy our beloved country!! Shame on you, I hope you can sleep at night, as you are not representing the majority of your constituents. The Democrats can start getting their bags packed as we will send you all home in NOV.
