Megadeth and Santorum

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine would pick any of the GOP candidates over President Barack Obama, but he likes Santorum best.

"Earlier in the election, I was completely oblivious as to who Rick Santorum was, but when the dude went home to be with his daughter when she was sick, that was very commendable,” Mustaine recently told MusicRadar.com. “... You know, I think Santorum has some presidential qualities, and I'm hoping that if it does come down to it, we'll see a Republican in the White House... and that it's Rick Santorum."

Santorum is quite the polar opposite to a libertarian leaning conservative. -- Consequently I'm not a Santorum supporter, or of his entertainer endorser for that matter.

Not much of a heavy metal fan myself, and libertarian that I am, Santorum has never been my first choice. That of course can and will change if the choice comes down to Santorum vs. Obama. In that matchup Santorum is most definitely my first choice.
