The New York Post is reporting that advertisers may begin a quiet departure from CBS. CBS faces a multimillion-dollar revolt by advertisers and viewers upset by the forged memos and eroding confidence in news anchor Dan Rather.
[...]
"I don't know of any companies ready to pull out yet, but if it happens it would be done later — quietly," said Bill Carroll, director of programming for Katz Media, which buys TV commercial airtime for companies.
"Advertisers don't want to inject themselves into the controversy and become part of the story."
Now we're getting to where the rubber hits the road. I have to wonder if this CBS probe will save them, especially if it's going to take any kind of time to complete. Rather and CBS are connected with criminal behavior on this one, if not their own, at least the individual who forged the memos. And the purpose of this criminal behavior was to swing a presidential election. Rather continues to claim this was a "mistake in judgment". If it was, the mistake is that he thought he could get away with it, but his judgment on that was wrong. Using phony documents in a bid to improve Kerry's election chances was deliberate and purposeful.
The left are circling the wagons around Danny Boy. Polling Point http://www.pollingpoint.com/ is running a "survey" on media bias. Included in their list of people to rate (aside from Dan) are Rush, Hannity and Frankin. Know I have never heard Frankin's show, but all 3 of the these people do not pretend to be anything but partisan. And does Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," count as a news program?

Interesting web site you've run across. There really isn't anything on it that says who they are - no individuals are identified. And on the "What we do" page there's this:
"As a PollingPoint respondent, the information you provide helps write laws, frame news stories, plan campaigns, and analyze social questions"
Scary thought.
With regard to "The Daily Show", I think some Democrats think it's news. Isn't that where Kerry made his first re-appearance after the Swift Boats Vets launched their ads?
