According to WorldNetDaily the mainstream press have still not picked up on Major General Paul Vallely's assertions that Joseph C. Wilson told him in 2002 that his wife Valerie worked at the CIA.
A search of Lexis-Nexis newspaper archives reveals major media outlets including the Associated Press, Reuters, New York Times and Washington Post have not reported a single story about Wilson's alleged 2002 disclosure.
This was reported in the context of the General's interview on national television by Hannity and Colmes.
"As we talked about our families, he did not say she was an agent, only that she was employed by the [Central Intelligence] Agency," Vallely reiterated on TV tonight.
When asked why he came forward at this time, the General said he felt the investigation was incomplete because neither Wilson nor Plame, whose name he pronounced 'Flame', had testified under oath. According to this witness list, Plame didn't testify but Wilson did. I don't know how reliable the list is. I believe a witness is free to discuss the testimony he or she gave, but no one else involved in the grand jury is at liberty to reveal it. We wouldn't know if Plame testified unless she was willing to say she did, so she may very well have testified.
But isn't it puzzling the mainstream press can find nothing newsworthy in this story. Gee willickers, I'm so perplexed.

and yet no word from you about the elections ... oh right, if you can't spin it, you don't want it.
This is all in jest Tom. Keep up blogging. Debate is always so much more invigorating than agreement.

I'm always delighted when you stop by, and I fully agree. Debate is so invigorating. And was it those Iraqi elections you were talking about? :)

Wanna piss off the "patriot"? Talk about the elections -- about how the Soros-funded ballot initiatives in Ohio all went down in flames.

Naah... I'd rather talk about how the Bush-stumped Kilgore lost in Virginia. Or how just about every other Republican involved in major races (yes, there weren't too many of them) across the country avoided Bush like the plague.
Momentum is a very fickle friend. With you one moment, gone the next. But if you had told me back in the Spring of '05 that Republicans would be shying away from a Bush visit in the Fall of '05 I don't think anybody would have believed it.
But yeah that Ohio ballot issue is clearly what everyone is talking about Rob ... not.
