Do you think the fact that one "newspaper" sells for 25 cents and the others sell for either double or quaduple the price has anything to do with it? Of course you didn't. That would have been too logical of a step for you simple mind to take into consideration.

Tom Bowler

You think the 25 cents drives it? Please.

So if thiere was such great demand for the rag like you suspect then why the heck would they charge 1/2 of what the the other daily in NY charges? Charity?

Or - and perhaps most likely - do you think it just might be paid-for political right-wing propaganda?

ny patriot

And by the way - did you happen to read the Op-ed piece in today's NY Times (John Tierney)discussing the growing importance of the libertarian swing vote back to the Democratic Party? You see a REAL libertarian views the recent escalation of government debt, the increasing intrusion on the individual's rights, the growing size of the governement programs, etc., as a REAL threat to those virtues and rights that a REAL liberatarian takes to heart.

But of course you wouldn't have any understanding of these values as you just wear the libertarian label as a badge to hide your true intentions - that of a dyed-in-the-wool Bush Apologist.

Libertarian? You're more likely a librarian than a libertarian.

Tom Bowler

I wouldn't be so confident in the support for your liberal press if it can bought off for a quarter.

And a key thing to remember about libertarians is they support the advance of liberty. Unfortunately liberty doesn't advance when liberals are in charge.

ny patriot

Supporting the advancement of liberty by advocating war against a people that have not agressed against you is NOT a libertarian principle. Initiating of war against someone who has not initiated physical force, threat, or fraud, is a violation of that principle. As a matter of fact, the pursuit of liberty in the classical liberal sense has a lot more in common than any conservative principle you could ever possibly try to advocate. Though sharing the dream of a limited government may be advocated by conservatives as well, protecting the liberties and freedoms of the people, THE MOST FUNDAMENTAL OF LIBERAL TENETS, is in fact at the root of libertarianism.

Of course, you are free to call yourself anything you want. But just about everything this current administration has stood up for is in complete contrast to the principles of what libertarianism is all about. You're not being truthful to yourself if you think otherwise.

I suppose firing rockets at our aircraft doesn't count any more. What's so amazing is how Saddam went from the world's worst dictator whose government was targeted for regime change by the Clinton administration, to near sainthood in just a few short years.

You have no idea what you stand for, do you Pat. Keep tuned in though, Pat. Your Democratic leadership will tell you when it's time for you to know.

So now we attacked Iraq because when we tried to enforce a no-fly zone in a sovereign country and a couple of anti-aircraft batteries were fired we invade??? Are you kidding? I thought it was to find the WMDs Tom? I thought it was to save the Kurds Tom? I thought it was to fight the terrorists Tom? I thought it was to seize control of a viable oil source Tom? You're like a bad dj who keeps changing the music depsite the fact that every song you play sucks.

You sure are becoming a grumpy old man Tom. The times have passed you by and it is becoming increasingly evident that you are becoming the typical old man in the corner of the room who knows nothing and complains about everything.

Go get another blanket. Winters can be awfully cold up in New Hampshire, especially under that rock you live under.

There's no point in reviewing history for someone once the raving starts. I was tempted to mention Kuwait and the term "cease-fire", but once a leftie descends into am ad-nominem rage, logic is wasted. Seriously though, when all that's left are the personal attacks, it's a sure sign that your side is losing. That's good news for the world!

Exactly my sentiments.

p.s. amazing how my point of view has become the view of the majority of this country. Keep up the complaining Tom - it fits you and those who share your point of view to a tee

We digress. And we've been over this ground on countless occasions. The only thing to do is wait for November 8th and see if Post circulation numbers indicated anything or not. Of course, it may be impossible to tell now that Lord Kerry has dropped his bombshell on the Democratic party. How does Karl Rove do it?
