John McCain and Rudy Giuliani both took shots at Hillary Clinton for her most unfortunate remarks to General David Petraeus in which she said his testimony before congress on progress in Iraq required a "willing suspension of disbelief." McCain delivered the heavier blow.
"I think it willingly suspends disbelief to not repudiate an advertisement run by a radical left-wing organization that impugns and dishonors the integrity of a man who has served his nation with dedication all of his life," said McCain, a Navy veteran who spent nearly six years as a POW in Vietnam and was in the second day of his "No Surrender" tour of Iowa. "If you're not tough enough to repudiate a scurrilous, outrageous attack such as that, then I don't know how you're tough enough to be president of the United States."

What Fred Thompson is experiencing is what stock market traders call a “dead-cat-bounce.” It refers mainly to a small uptick in a stock that’s declined sharply and reflects the concept that, “If dropped from a high-enough position, even a dead cat will bounce.”
On my own blog I write extensively about Rudy Giuliani, his strategy, and his challenges. I also write about attrractive (and electable) young Republican candidates, including Gov. Sarah Heath Palin of Alaska. I hope you’ll come visit.

Hillary proves yet again that she has nothing but contempt for the military. It's not toughness...
I think if she's elected President, the entire military will be decimated in 4 years. Her husband started the process, she'll finish it.

"..nothing but contempt for the military." That is absolutely correct and the GOP should bang that drum nad use those who have witnessed her rages and rants first hand. This Hitlery person is dangerous. Period. It looks like we may come down to a lesser of the evils choice once again. I'm not that down on Fred yet, however. If he maintains his fair tax position, I'll back him until he screws up big. Hitlery? I'd vote for Hugo Chavez first. At least then people would know what we had.
