The spill can't quite be the equivalent of Katrina unless someone can come up with a one or two word catchphrase to summarize it. Everyone recognizes "Katrina", "Watergate", "9/11", "Pearl Harbor" "Hiroshima".

Unless we can give this event a simple name it won't be quite the useful bludgeon that the big hurricane in the gulf was for the silly socialists. And, of course, the old media will never assign the blame for government incompetence to the Administration as they did with Bush.
