Following the 2010 midterms, it seams unimaginable that a candidate embodying everything the Tea Party rejects could become the Republican party’s nominee, but that is what happened. 

And so, there is a less than 50/50 chance that this nominee will win a squeaker.

What is absolutely inexcusable is the possibility of the Republicans failing to take the Senate.

This should have been the number 1 priority once the Presidential nominee became obvious.

I think you misunderestimate the Tea Party. They're highly motivated and voting against Obama.
