Government agencies and private security companies in the U.S. have found a cost-effective way to engage in warrantless surveillance of individuals, groups and places: a pay-for-access web tool called Fog Reveal.

The tool enables law enforcement officers to see “patterns of life” – where and when people work and live, with whom they associate and what places they visit. The tool’s maker, Fog Data Science, claims to have billions of data points from over 250 million U.S. mobile devices.

Fog Reveal came to light when the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), a nonprofit that advocates for online civil liberties, was investigating location data brokers and uncovered the program through a Freedom of Information Act request. EFF’s investigation found that Fog Reveal enables law enforcement and private companies to identify and track people and monitor specific places and events, like rallies, protests, places of worship and health care clinics. The Associated Press found that nearly two dozen government agencies across the country have contracted with Fog Data Science to use the tool.

The trove of personal data Fog Data Science is selling, and government agencies are buying, exists because ever-advancing technologies in smart devices collect increasingly vast amounts of intimate data. Without meaningful choice or control on the user’s part, smart device and app makers collect, use and sell that data.

Tulsi Gabbard has broken with Democrats over the direction the party has been taking America, but where did she think they were going with it before?  Democrats have aggressively pushed for this since Hillary headed up health care reform in the 90s.  The difference now is that we may actually get to where Democrats want to go, and that's scaring the shit out of people.

Martin Walsh, Conservative Brief:  Greg Gutfeld Predicts Ex-Dem Tulsi Gabbard Will Be Trump’s VP

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld thinks he knows who former President Donald Trump will pick as his running mate if he makes another bid for the White House in 2024.

During a segment on “The Five,” Gutfeld and the co-hosts discussed former presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard leaving the Democratic Party. Gutfeld spoke highly of Gabbard, saying she is the “definition of an individual” and predicting she will be Trump’s running mate in 2024.

“The thing I like about Tulsi is that if she were to give you two opinions, you could not predict a third. She’s a definition of an individual. Like, I disagree with her on probably at least 30%, maybe 40% of things, but the boxes she ticks aren’t the boxes that Kamala ticks. Her boxes are achievements and ideas. That’s different than skin color...

Trump could do worse.

Boston: Ground Zero for the Next Pandemic

Ben Whedon, Just the News:  Boston University says it's developed deadlier COVID strain, senator calls it ‘unconscionable’

Boston University researchers claim to have developed a new COVID strain that far surpasses the COVID-19 strain in terms of lethality.

A team of Floridian and Bostonian scientists at the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories say the new strain has an 80% kill rate, according to Fox News. The strain is a combination of both the original virus and the Omicron strain that later spread like wildfire across the world.

Researchers used mice to test the lethality of the new COVID variant, dubbed "Omicron S." 

"In... mice, while Omicron causes mild, non-fatal infection, the Omicron S-carrying virus inflicts severe disease with a mortality rate of 80 percent," they wrote, per the outlet.

Similar experiments were taking place at the Wuhan Institute of Virology prior to the original outbreak. The scientists there were performing "gain-of-function" research to amplify and alter the properties of coronaviruses. A leak from the lab remains one of the most prominent theories as to the origins of the pandemic.

Congress has since banned funding to the Chinese lab.

Charlotte Hazard, Just the News:  Former US Ambassador Grenell says Biden administration funding both sides of Ukraine war

Grenell is apparently arguing that Iran enter a U.S.-led deal to curb its program to develop nuclear weapons – or reenter the 2015 deal former President Trump ended – would lead to the easing of millions, if not more, in economic sanctions. 

He said National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is "negotiating with Iran, promising them all sorts of gifts to control their nuclear issue, which I would argue is not controlling their nuclear issue, but it's encouraging them to continue their terrorist ways.

"While at the same time, they're funding Ukraine, and now we see that Iran has sent their drones to Ukraine."

He also said the administration is "literally on both sides of the war. Now in Ukraine, we're working with the Iranians who are supplying the Russians and we're giving money to the Ukrainians. It's outrageous."

The former ambassador says that this doesn't surprise him due to the corruption in Washington.
