Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post reported, “Misinformation research is buckling under GOP legal attacks.

“An escalating campaign, led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and other Republicans, has cast a pall over programs that study political disinformation and the quality of medical information online.”

By misinformation research, the Bezos Post meant censorship.

By political disinformation, the Bezos Post meant Republicans telling the truth about such lies as the Russian dossier.

By the quality of medical information online, the Bezos Post meant mocking treatments that work on covid (such as ivermectin) and promoting actions that failed to stop the virus (such as wearing a cloth mask or standing six feet apart).

Biden Administration Continues Its War on the American People

Homeland Security saw 304,162 unauthorized migrants enter the country in August alone, breaking the previous monthly record and heightening the challenges confronting the Biden administration.

That includes roughly 181,000 illegal immigrants nabbed by Border Patrol agents at the southern border, up more than 36% compared to July.

But the bigger action is at the official ports of entry, where the Biden administration has set up several programs to welcome unauthorized migrants as long as they schedule their arrivals. The ports of entry reported 121,781 encounters with unauthorized migrants in August.

More than 50,000 of those arrived at airports and seaports, bypassing the southern border altogether and showing up deeper inside the U.S. where they quickly dispersed.

The previous monthly high for total illegal border encounters was set in December when authorities detected 302,412 migrants. By contrast, under the Trump administration in August 2020 the number was 65,707, or less than a quarter of what President Biden saw last month.

The numbers mark the latest embarrassment for Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who just a few months ago took a victory lap as numbers at the southern border dipped. He said policies he’d put in place to prepare for the end of the pandemic emergency were working to tamp down on the flow of people.

Biden and company pretend to be working to "tamp down on the flow" of illegal immigrants, but in reality they encourage it.  Ultimately, the goal is to provide mail-in ballots to be filled out on behalf of illegals.  In the meantime, the illegal immigrants take up jobs and taxpayer dollars.  They also necessitate expanded bureaucracies to be headed up and manned by political cronies.

Biden and Harris To Be Pushed in 2024

In a key bit of synchronicity, two events took place in close succession that show that the Biden plan to run for 2024 is on the ropes. The first was that the White House counsel’s office sent letters to major press outlets pressuring effectively directing them to treat the impeachment inquiry as a lie. Mind you, this media meddling comes after the Biden Administration lost its fight against a preliminary injunction, both at the trail court and appeals court level, against its campaign to influence social media platforms not to publish what it deemed to be “misinformation”. If you read Matt Taibbi’s Twitter files revelations, that campaign was light touch compared to this letter.

But the fact that it was Democratic Party fixture CNN that was first to [go] public about the Biden Administration narrative control campaign was a sign that a weakened and desperate Administration had overplayed its hand. We’ll return to the letter later in the post because there are other ways in which it was extremely irregular.

But the big bombshell is the David Ignatius oped in the Washington Post telling Biden not to run again and even going so far as to tell Harris to step aside too. Tellingly, the article was not paywalled:

The significance is not that Ignatiius sticks the shiv in as nicely as possible, spending paragraphs signaling his regret at having to recommend against Biden 2024 despite Ignatius’ view that Biden “has been a successful and effective president.” It’s due to Igantius’ status as whisperer in chief for the surveillance-intelligence industrial complex. Remember, for instance, that Anthony Blinken gave an interview to Ignatius in January in which Blinken effectively committed the US to an open-ended war in Ukraine.

"I signed the declaration because I believe the climate is no longer studied scientifically. Rather, it has become an item of faith," Haym Benaroya, a distinguished professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Rutgers University, told The Epoch Times.

"The earth has warmed about 2 degrees F since the end of the Little Ice Age around 1850, but that hardly constitutes an emergency—or even a crisis—since the planet has been warmer yet over the last few millennia," Ralph Alexander, a retired physicist and author of the website "Science Under Attack," told The Epoch Times.

"There is plenty of evidence that average temperatures were higher during the so-called Medieval Warm Period (centered around the year 1000), the Roman Warm Period (when grapes and citrus fruits were grown in now much colder Britain), and in the early Holocene (after the last regular Ice Age ended)."
