That would be Joe Biden. President Joe Biden is considered non-essential personnel by none other than his Pentagon. Neither the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin nor Austin's staff felt obliged to inform the president that the secretary was not at his post for several days after New Year's, but in the ICU instead. President Biden was unaware for three days. Then came the big news on Friday. It was reported in several news outlets that, despite the delay, Biden has full confidence in his Secretary of Defense.
President Joe Biden said Friday that he has confidence in Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin after the Pentagon waited three days to tell the White House that the top defense official was in the intensive care unit.
Biden also affirmed that Austin had a "lapse in judgment" by not telling the White House about his hospitalization earlier.
Here is the president's full statement on the situation.
A journalist asked the president, "Do you have confidence in Secretary Austin?"
"I do," Biden responded.
"Was it a lapse in judgment for him not to tell you earlier?" the journalist asked.
"Yes," Biden said.
Some really penetrating journalism there. The kind of reporting where you'd expect to hear the question, "How do you feel?" Credit to Joe that he gave the right answers. "I do," "Yes." Journalists who get access know they need to go easy on Joe. Don't push it, he got his two questions right. The house of cards still stands.
Biden is the perfect figurehead. No need to bother telling him who happens to be in charge day to day over at the Pentagon, he doesn't talk to anybody over there anyway. Hell, he doesn't find his own way off stage after a speech. It's astonishing and frightening that so many Democrats are content with this situation. Maybe they're just in denial, or maybe they're reassured by rumors that The Great and Wonderful Obama is the one pulling Biden's strings.
Personally, I don't think rumors of Obama calling the shots are true. It seems more likely to me that the puppet master is someone well connected to the three-letter government organizations that have an "I" as one of their letters. Those organizations have been at if for a long time. They've been orchestrating world events from behind the scenes for decades, and, obviously, they're in position to know things. Lately, though, they seem to be formulating "intelligence" rather than digging it out.
Which brings me to my theory of the one thing for which Joe has been essential. Back in 2019 those agencies could easily have known that Trump wanted to find out about the Biden family's bribery and influence peddling in Ukraine. You may recall, that Joe bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations how back when he was Vice President he got a "corrupt" Ukrainian prosecutor fired. The corrupt prosecutor just happened to be investigating Burisma at the time. Burisma is the Ukrainian energy company on whose board Joe's son Hunter Biden sat, for which Hunter was paid around $3.5 million. (Board members don't usually get paid that sort of dough.) Joe Biden delivered an ultimatum to the Ukrainian government. Unless they fired that prosecutor, Biden was going to leave Ukraine without giving them the billion dollars in aid that he was there to deliver.
It's my theory that the three-letter organizations, knowing that Trump wanted the Ukraine to find out about all that, persuaded, pressured, or arranged for the aging and reluctant Joe, to run for president. Why would they want Joe Biden to run for president?
Without Joe running for president, the infamous phone call, the one where U.S. President Donald Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into that situation, was just a phone call. But, because Joe Biden was running for president, Trump was accused of colluding with a foreign power to interfere in U.S. Presidential Election. That led to Trump's second impeachment by the House and subsequent acquittal by the Senate. But there would have been no impeachment if Joe had been allowed to retire to the nursing home where he clearly belongs.
That was something for which Joe was essential. To set up Trump. So Joe ran for president. That may have been all they wanted, Joe to run. But it turned out, Joe running was not quite enough because the impeachment was not enough. Trump was still popular. The years-long Russian collusion hoax, the Mueller investigation, and two impeachments all failed to turn Trump into political road-kill.
Biden had to run, and now he had to win, even though in two previous tries he had never won a state primary or caucus. He would get help from the corona virus, which allowed Democrats and their allies in many states to change election laws and procedures and implement massive mail-in voting. The mail-in ballots would be the key.
But Trump was much more popular than they ever dreamed. Their fixed elections weren't as well fixed as they needed to be. Picture it. The election fixers are sitting in their command center in the wee hours realizing that they need to come up more phony Biden ballots. It's 1:00 am and Trump is cruising to victory. With Biden woefully behind, ballot counting is stopped in the middle of night in several states. Election observers are sent home. Hours later counting starts again. Biden is magically ahead.
Non-essential Biden became president. And still, Biden's only purpose, for the ones who put him there, is to stop Trump. Now, the Biden Department of Justice is prosecuting Trump. Some states' attorneys general are also prosecuting Trump. I can't imagine that Biden is orchestrating any of that. Not because it's unethical for a president to sic his DOJ on a political rival. I certainly wouldn't ever accuse Biden of having any ethics. No, somebody else is doing it for him. Biden's just not up to it. Biden is non-essential.
